In April 2008, in response to feedback from the sector, we agreed to fund organisations for a period of three years. Those organisations currently in receipt of funding with an agreement for three years will continue to receive funding from Connexions and the level of funding and outcomes for 2009 – 2010 will be agreed as soon as possible in the New Year.

We are unable to determine the actual level of funding until we receive the budget allocation from our Commissioners. We will contact you as soon as we are aware of our funding to agree outcomes and levels of funding for 2009-2010, thank you for your patience in this matter.

Because funding has been agreed for three years, it is unlikely that there will be any bidding process for new money under this funding strand. However in the new financial year we shall be seeking applications for the Youth Opportunity Fund (YOF) and Youth Capital Fund (YCF) from young people in Cheshire.
