Brand New UCAS Website
Posted 1/15/2009

What students will get by joining ‘yougo’:

Tailored information on higher education courses and institutions
Help with the UCAS application process from online advisers
Access to the yougo forums
Web chats with universities, colleges and UCAS advisers
The ability to talk to universities and colleges directly and get the facts
Timely newsletters from UCAS written in association with HELOA
Three copies of The Independent's 'YouCan' magazine
A FREE discount card giving them special offers with many high street names

To ensure your students obtain the maximum benefit from yougo, please encourage them to register as soon as possible. To help advertise the scheme to your students you can download our A4 poster which you can print out and display around your school or college.

As this is a secure student-only website, there is no section for teachers or advisers. However, you can download our presentation of how the website looks and what it offers your students. This presentation should answer any questions you may have about yougo (please note the presentation will automatically run).

Copies of the newsletters will also be emailed to you as will 'e-zine' versions of 'YouCan' so you will be kept up to date with the information being sent to your students.

How do students register?
Your students will need to visit www.yougofurther.co.uk and click on the 'join now' button under the heading 'Thinking of applying'. They can then register to use the website and start receiving all the benefits listed above.

Year 13 or equivalent students that have already applied to UCAS can also register for yougo by clicking the 'join now' button under the heading 'Applied?'.

Problems?
yougo maybe blocked by your centre's firewall. If so, please contact your IT department and ask them to relax the firewall settings for the website. This will allow your students to register for the scheme during school hours.

If you are still experiencing problems or have a general enquiry regarding yougo, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards,
